A sneak-peek at ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani’

Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ has an interesting lead pair of Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor. The movie has Ranbir playing the melancholy lover-boy hopelessly in love with the idea of being in love. The character is somewhat similar to what Raj Kapoor played in ‘Mera Naam Joker’ and before him, Chaplin in ‘City Lights’.
Katrina Kaif plays a character that closely resembles what she is in real life- A little lost, a little out of it, credulous, artless and trusting- a girl who believes in the goodness of all things. The film requires her to be young and trendy.
The film also stars Upen Patel, Darshan Jariwala and Salman Khan (in a special appearance). Directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi and produced by Ramesh S Taurani, the film is slated to be released in the first half of the year 2009.
