Q: What is your definition of fashion?
A: I think fashion is all about being comfortable, wearing clothes that suits your body. Fashion is about how you carry yourself. One should not follow style blindly.

Q: Where do you mostly shop from?
A: I have my designers who take care of that. Anita Dongre, Rajesh and Anirban are the people behind my style. They know exactly what I am comfortable wearing and what suits my body. They are classy and different from the rest.

Q: Do you prefer any specific brands?
A: Yes, I am an absolute brand baby and prefer different brands for different outfits.

Q: Your gym wear is...
A: T-shirts, tracks and Reebok shoes. Infact, the tracks and t-shirts I use while working out are also Reebok. At times, people have actually asked me if I am endorsing Reebok.

Q. Do you go for the formal look at times?

A: I don't like wearing formals much. I wear them only when needed. When I do, I prefer Zara, Chanel and Christian Dior.

Q: What's your casual look?
A: A nice fitting pair of blue jeans and a plain T-shirt. I don't like stripes. For me, jeans have to be Levis and I prefer Forever 21.

Q: What do you prefer for evening wear?
A: My casual look doubles as my evening wear.

Q: What about night wear?
A: I wear loose outfits at night. They are more comfortable. Satin pajamas, loose T- shirts and spaghettis. I even wear shorts.

Q: Do you adorn yourself with accessories?
A: I am not much of a necklace girl. I do wear small earrings, bracelets and neck-pieces as long as it goes with my dress.

Q: Which brand do you favour for footwear?
A: Chanel, Aldo, and many Indian brands. The same goes for my handbags.

Q: What are the cosmetics that you use?
A: My skin is sensitive so I mostly use Mac products. They are good. Even Loreal lip-glosses are good. I use Origin body lotions and Lan com make-up remover.

Q: Which is the latest perfume that you bought?

A: I don't remember, but my favourites are Happy by Clinique, Davidoff Cool Water and Issey Miyake's basic fragrance.

Q: Brands you prefer for lingerie?
A: Hmm, that's a secret and I don't want any one else to know about it.

Q: What colours do you think are musts in any wardrobe?
A: I am a colourful person. So I like mostly all colours, but black, lemon, white, pink, and beige are favourites.

If there's one film of 2008 that continues to be a hot favourite of most moviegoers even today, its debutante director Neeraj Pandey's A WEDNESDAY. The film was a major critical and commercial success, winning accolades and box-office rewards simultaneously.

The latest is, the makers are planning to make a prequel of this brilliant film. ''You've heard it right. We're toying with the idea currently. We're working out the modalities. How does it sound to you?'' an excited Neeraj Pandey asks.

Of course, A WEDNESDAY was an outstanding effort and a prequel or a sequel is most welcome. Will the set of actors (Naseruddin Shah, Anupam Kher, Jimmy Shergill) star in the prequel as well? ''In all probability, yes. Plus, a few new actors might be added,'' Neeraj divulges.

Prequel, sequel or a new project altogether, we look forward to your new film Neeraj.

Tulip’s Punjabi film
Tulip's Punjabi film 'JAG JEONDEYAN DE MELE' where she stars alongside Harbhajan Mann has opened to a smashing response in Punjab.
This is the first time Tulip has featured in a Punjabi film where she essays a double role. The film which is running to packed theatres is currently in its 7th week. The congratulatory calls are not just pouring in from Punjab but also from Canada and UK. Tulip plays the character of a modern blind girl from UK and on the other she gives it a rustic touch by playing the role of a tribal gypsy woman from Punjab. Both roles being on either end of the spectrum gave the actress ample scope to experiment and gives 2 completely different looks in the film.

Tulip Joshi who has won accolades for her performance in 'Matrabhoomi' and critical acclaim with her role in 'Dhoka' was last seen in Shree Ashtavinayak's 'Superstar'.

 Nandana Sen
After the controversial nude scenes in Ketan Mehta's Rang Rasiya, Nandana Sen got another highly-prestigious offer that required her to go topless.

Italian filmmaker Italo Spinelli offered Nandana the lead of a tribal woman who's surreptitiously shot nude by a photographer.

The film is based on Bengali litterateur Mahashweta Devi's provocative and controversial story Choli Ke Peeche.

The role offered to Nandana was pivotal tempting and challenging .Nandana was sorely tempted.

But doing a full-on topless sequence which is a crucial part of the narrative, so soon after Rang Rasiya , was just not on Nandana's agenda.

She has reluctantly and after much deliberation said no, throwing the whole project to be started later this year, into back gear.

Nandana explains, "It's a good project directed by Italo Spinelli, produced by RAI, shot by Blasco Giurardo, the cinematographer of Cinema Paradiso. It's a powerful story and although I support it fully I feel the subject matter is such that the tribal girl's nudity cannot avoid becoming unintentionally voyeuristic and exoticised even though that is definitely not the objective. If you remember, previously too I passed on various other international projects because of a similar concern."

Nandana made an exception with Ketan Mehta's film. "Rang Rasiya focuses on the increasing critical topic of censorship of art .Remember what happened in Jehangir art gallery last month?. Ketan's film deals entirely with the freedom to paint the human figure in its natural beauty. The emotional drama as well as the political message of the film revolve around one critical and excessively talked- about scene of Sugandha, the muse, having the courage to break the rules of the time to pose for Ravi Varma(Randeep Hooda) and create a masterpiece of art together."

But having said this Nandana says no to nudity , no matter how aesthetic.

Could the fact that she intends to tie the knot with steady boyfriend Madhu Mantena have something to do with her decision to forego such a plum assignment?

Sonakshi Sinha
Another celeb daughter is set to make her debut in Bollywood. She is Sonakshi Sinha , the daughter of yesteryear actor and today's politician Shatrughan Sinha . In her very first flick, the girl will be seen opposite none other than Salman Khan , who has the reputation of working with actresses almost half his age.

The film will be produced by Arbaaz Khan who is venturing into production with his Arbaaz Khan Productions and will be directed by Anurag Kashyap ’s brother Abhinav Kashyap.

Sonakshi, who had never shown interest in acting like her twin brothers Luv and Kush, has studied fashion designing. But she eventually chose to follow her father’s footsteps. Reportedly, the girl was excited after hearing the script.

According to reports, the movie required a beautiful girl with a strong personality. The makers, however, were skeptical about the leading lady; whether it should be an established actress or a fresh face. Finally, Sonakshi was approached as her pairing with Salman looked great. The girl has said ‘yes’ to the project, which will also have Arbaaz Khan in a major role.

The script is written by Abhinav and was liked by Salim Khan, father of Salman and Arbaaz and the iconic script writer of blockbusters like ‘Deewar’. The movie will go on the floors by September.

Sonakshi is not only a fashion designer; she reportedly shed around 26 kilos to walk the ramp like a professional model at the last year’s Lakme India Fashion Week. She also designed costumes for her mother Poonam Sinha’s first production film ‘Mera Dil Leke Dekho’ which starred Koel Purie in the year 2005.

Sherlyn Chopra
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan might be the most sought after Bollywood star on the Internet worldwide, but in India, there is nobody to beatmodel-singer-actress Sherlyn Chopra when it comes to being the hot favourite of netizens.

However, there is a lot more to Sherlyn than this exotic image she has built up for herself. Even before the launch of her first upmarket film, Yash Raj's Hadippa with Shahid Kapoor and Rani Mukherji, the ambitious actress with Christian-Muslim blood has been making steady inroads into Bollywood. She's hoping to bag three projects this year including a Prakash Jha film and an item song in Farah Khan's Happy New Year. "Talks are on and they sound promising," the sexy Sherlyn told BT.

In Hadippa, she plays a supermodel just returned to India from the UK, and has a good amount of screen time including scenes with Shahid and Rani. Yashraj, however, has one more schedule to go before this film will be ready for release and the production house is busy with John Abraham's New York before that. In the meanwhile, Sherlyn Chopra can be seen in her Bikini Calendar for 2009. It was shot on Kelva Beach, the Mauritius of Maharashtra, and is so hot... you'll wish you were there!
